Effective Date: 26th October 2026

Last Updated: 26th October 2026

Welcome to Adike Diary. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Adike Diary website, application, and related services.

Please read these Terms carefully before using the service. By creating an account and selecting the checkbox confirming your acceptance of these Terms, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to them. If you do not agree, you must not create an account or use services that require acceptance.

1. About Adike Diary

Adike Diary (“Adike Diary”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a digital record-keeping service designed to help farmers and other users record, organise, and review agricultural information, particularly areca nut (adike) farming records.

The service may include features for recording:

  • Annual areca nut harvest and yield quantities.
  • Harvest quantities expressed in quintals or other supported units.
  • Sales records and average selling prices.
  • Year-wise comparisons and farm performance.
  • Historical farming records, summaries, reports, and other features introduced from time to time.

The legal operator named above is responsible for providing the service. Adike Diary is a product name and does not, by itself, identify a separate incorporated legal entity.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, checking the acceptance checkbox, or using the service after being presented with these Terms, you agree to be bound by the applicable Terms.

Where an acceptance checkbox is presented during registration, acceptance must be given through an affirmative action. The checkbox will not be pre-selected.

We may maintain an electronic record of your acceptance, including your account identifier, the version of the Terms accepted, and the date and time of acceptance.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not proceed with registration or use of features requiring acceptance.

3. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable Indian law to create an account and use paid services.

If you are using Adike Diary on behalf of a farm, business, family, partnership, or other organisation, you represent that you have the authority to use the service for that purpose.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account.

4. Account Registration and Security

Certain features require an account.

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate registration information.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Keeping access to your registered email account secure.
  • Notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • Ensuring that people you authorise to access your account use it appropriately.

You must not share access in a way that violates your subscription terms or compromises the security of other users' records.

You are responsible for activity conducted through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law. This does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or make you responsible for activity caused by our own security failures.

We may take reasonable steps to protect accounts, investigate suspicious activity, and prevent unauthorised access.

5. Description of the Service

Adike Diary provides digital record-keeping and basic information-management tools for agricultural use.

The available features may change as the product develops. We may add, improve, modify, or discontinue features, provided we comply with applicable law and any commitments applicable to your active subscription.

We aim to make the service straightforward and useful for farmers. However, we do not guarantee that every feature will be suitable for every user's individual farming or business requirements.

Adike Diary is a record-keeping tool. Unless expressly stated otherwise, it is not an accounting, tax-filing, banking, lending, insurance, agricultural advisory, commodity-trading, or professional financial-advice service.

6. Free Trial

Adike Diary may offer eligible new users a seven-day free trial.

Unless a different offer is expressly displayed at registration:

  1. The trial begins when the trial is activated for your account.
  2. The trial lasts seven days.
  3. The trial allows access to the features identified in the applicable offer.
  4. You must purchase a subscription to continue using paid features after the trial ends.
  5. You will not automatically be charged when the trial ends.
  6. You must affirmatively initiate and complete the payment process to purchase a subscription.

We may limit trial eligibility to one trial per person, account, or other reasonable criterion to prevent abuse.

Any different trial duration, promotional offer, or eligibility condition will be disclosed before you accept that offer.

7. Subscription Price and Duration

Unless a different price is expressly displayed and accepted at checkout, the standard subscription is:

₹199 for 365 days of access.

The applicable subscription period begins on the activation date shown in your account or payment confirmation, subject to the offer purchased.

The subscription price and duration will be displayed before payment. Applicable taxes, if any, will be disclosed or charged as required by law.

A subscription provides access to the paid features available under the selected plan for the applicable period.

We may introduce additional plans, promotional prices, or optional paid features. Any new purchase will be subject to the price and terms disclosed at the time of purchase.

A change in future pricing will not retrospectively change the price of an already-paid subscription period.

8. Payment Processing

Payments may be processed through Razorpay or another payment provider identified at checkout.

When making a payment, you may be redirected to or interact with the payment provider's systems. Your payment may also be subject to the provider's applicable terms and privacy practices.

You agree to provide accurate payment information and authorise the payment for the amount you expressly approve.

We do not intend to store complete card details, banking credentials, UPI PINs, or other sensitive payment authentication information in Adike Diary.

A payment confirmation, order record, or transaction reference may be used to verify your payment and activate your subscription.

Paid access will be activated after successful payment verification, subject to reasonable processing delays and technical limitations.

If money is debited but your subscription is not activated, contact adikediary@gmail.com with your transaction reference. We will investigate the issue and take appropriate steps to resolve it.

9. No Automatic Renewal

Unless we expressly introduce a separate renewal arrangement with clear advance disclosure and your valid consent, Adike Diary subscriptions do not automatically renew.

We will not automatically debit your account merely because your free trial or subscription period has ended.

To continue using paid features after expiry, you must make a new purchase through the available payment process.

Any future automatic-renewal feature, if introduced, will require appropriate disclosure and consent before it applies to you.

10. Cancellation and Refunds

You may stop using Adike Diary at any time.

Unless a different arrangement is disclosed at purchase, cancelling your use of the service or choosing not to renew does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the unused portion of a subscription.

However, this does not remove any refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or other rights you may have under applicable law.

We will consider refund requests in circumstances including:

  • Duplicate payments.
  • A verified payment debit without corresponding subscription activation.
  • An incorrect charge attributable to a technical or processing error.
  • A payment accepted for a service that we are unable to provide.
  • Other circumstances in which a refund is required by applicable law or is otherwise approved by us.

To request assistance or a refund, email adikediary@gmail.com with your registered email address, transaction reference, payment date, and a description of the issue. Do not send passwords, UPI PINs, or full card details.

We will review the request and communicate the outcome within a reasonable period, subject to applicable law and payment-provider procedures.

Where a refund is approved, it will ordinarily be processed through the original payment method where feasible. The time taken for the funds to appear may depend on the payment provider or bank.

Nothing in this section is intended to exclude mandatory consumer rights or remedies.

11. Your Farm Records and Data Ownership

You retain your rights in the information and records you submit to Adike Diary, including your harvest quantities, sales entries, prices, and farm-performance records.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to enter any information you upload or store through the service.

By using Adike Diary, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, store, process, reproduce, and display your submitted information as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide the service and its requested features.
  • Save and retrieve your records.
  • Generate summaries, calculations, and reports.
  • Maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the application.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Meet legal obligations and resolve disputes.

This permission is limited to operating and improving the service in accordance with these Terms and our Privacy Policy. It does not transfer ownership of your farm records to us.

We will not sell your identifiable farm records to third parties for their independent commercial use merely because you use Adike Diary. Any separate use of data, including analytics or research, must be consistent with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.

12. Accuracy of Records and Calculations

You are responsible for entering accurate information and reviewing your records.

Adike Diary may provide automatic calculations, averages, totals, comparisons, summaries, or other derived information. Such outputs depend on the information entered, the units selected, the formulas used, and the availability of the service.

You acknowledge that:

  • Incorrect or incomplete entries can produce incorrect results.
  • Incorrect units or dates can affect totals and comparisons.
  • Estimates and summaries may not reflect the complete circumstances of your farm.
  • Software errors or interruptions may occasionally affect the display or processing of records.

You should verify important figures against your original records, receipts, sales documents, or other reliable evidence before relying on them for financial, business, tax, lending, insurance, or legal decisions.

Adike Diary does not guarantee that user-entered information or automatically generated calculations will be accurate in every circumstance.

We will take reasonable steps to address reported errors and improve the reliability of the service.

13. Backups and Data Export

You should retain independent copies of important farming, sales, and financial records.

Where export, download, backup, or print functionality is available, you should use it periodically to preserve important information outside the application.

We aim to protect stored information, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to every record or that data can never be lost, corrupted, or rendered inaccessible.

Subject to applicable law, we may retain records for a reasonable period for service delivery, account administration, security, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.

We will handle data deletion and retention in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Before launch, we will clearly describe the available methods for exporting and deleting records, including any limitations that apply when a subscription expires or an account is closed.

14. Subscription Expiry and Access

When a free trial or paid subscription expires, access to paid features may be restricted until a new subscription is purchased.

We will communicate material access restrictions in a reasonably clear manner.

Expiry does not automatically transfer ownership of your records to Adike Diary.

The retention, retrieval, export, and deletion of records after expiry will be governed by our Privacy Policy and the retention practices disclosed to users.

Where reasonably practicable, we will provide a reasonable opportunity for users to retrieve their records before permanent deletion, subject to legal, security, and technical requirements.

We do not promise indefinite storage of records after account closure or subscription expiry unless we expressly state otherwise.

15. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Adike Diary lawfully and responsibly.

You must not:

  • Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive activities.
  • Enter information that you knowingly misrepresent as someone else's records without authorisation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems, databases, or infrastructure.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without our prior written authorisation.
  • Interfere with the service, its security, or other users' access.
  • Upload malware or malicious code.
  • Scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or exploit the service except where permitted by applicable law.
  • Circumvent subscription, access-control, or payment-verification mechanisms.
  • Use the service to violate another person's rights or applicable law.

We may investigate suspected violations and take proportionate action, including restricting access or suspending an account where reasonably necessary.

Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

16. Intellectual Property

The Adike Diary name, logo, branding, software, application design, original text, layouts, and other content created for the service are owned by or licensed to the service operator, except for user content and third-party materials.

You may use the service for its intended purpose under these Terms.

You must not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit, or create unauthorised derivative works from our protected materials except with our permission or where applicable law permits it.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your own records to us.

Third-party trademarks, logos, and services remain the property of their respective owners.

17. Privacy and Personal Information

We may process personal information such as your name, email address, account details, subscription status, payment references, technical information, and information you choose to store in the application.

We will explain the categories of information collected, the purposes for processing, applicable service providers, retention practices, security measures, and available user choices in our separate Privacy Policy.

By using the service, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy, subject to any consent or other legal basis required by applicable law.

We will take reasonable measures to protect personal information and restrict access to authorised purposes.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security. We cannot promise that unauthorised access, cyberattacks, or technical failures will never occur. This statement does not exempt us from security obligations imposed by applicable law.

You should review the Privacy Policy before using the service.

18. Third-Party Services

Adike Diary may depend on third-party providers for services such as hosting, authentication, databases, email delivery, analytics, and payment processing.

These providers may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for independent acts or omissions of third parties to the extent they are outside our reasonable control. This does not exclude any responsibility that applicable law places on us for our own selection, conduct, contractual obligations, or use of such providers.

If a third-party service experiences an outage or changes its offering, some features of Adike Diary may become temporarily unavailable or may need to be modified.

19. Service Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Adike Diary available and functioning reliably. However, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.

The service may occasionally be unavailable because of:

  • Planned maintenance or software updates.
  • Internet, hosting, or infrastructure failures.
  • Third-party service outages.
  • Security incidents.
  • Events beyond our reasonable control.

We may update, improve, or modify features as the application develops. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes that materially affect paid users.

If we permanently discontinue a material paid service, we will take reasonable steps to communicate the change and address affected subscriptions in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances.

Nothing in these Terms authorises us to disregard mandatory contractual or consumer obligations.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Adike Diary is provided on an “as available” basis.

We do not warrant that:

  • The service will always be available without interruption.
  • The service will be compatible with every device or browser.
  • Every calculation, report, or display will be error-free at all times.
  • The service will satisfy every user's particular business requirements.
  • All information stored in the application will remain accessible indefinitely.

We will take reasonable steps to maintain the service and address issues that are brought to our attention.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, guarantee, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential losses arising from use of the service, where such exclusion is legally permitted.

Examples may include loss of anticipated profits, business opportunities, or savings, where these are indirect losses and exclusion is lawful.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be responsible for losses arising solely from:

  • Incorrect information entered by a user.
  • A user's failure to maintain independent copies of important records.
  • Decisions made without independently verifying important calculations or summaries.
  • Interruptions caused by events outside our reasonable control.
  • Unauthorised access that could not reasonably have been prevented despite appropriate safeguards.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence where such exclusion is prohibited, death or personal injury where legally non-excludable, breach of mandatory statutory obligations, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Where applicable law permits a monetary cap on liability, our aggregate liability for a particular claim relating to a paid subscription will not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant subscription during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to that claim.

This cap does not apply where prohibited by law or to liabilities that cannot legally be capped.

The limitations in this section apply only to the extent legally enforceable.

22. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for reasonable losses, claims, and expenses arising directly from your unlawful use of Adike Diary, your intentional misuse of the service, or your infringement of third-party rights.

This provision does not require you to indemnify us for losses caused by our own negligence, unlawful conduct, breach of these Terms, or other circumstances for which you cannot legally be held responsible.

We will provide reasonable notice of a claim for which we seek indemnification, where legally and practically possible.

23. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Adike Diary and request account closure by contacting adikediary@gmail.com or using an account-closure feature if one is available.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of:

  • A material breach of these Terms.
  • Fraud, abuse, or unlawful activity.
  • A security risk affecting the service or other users.
  • A legal requirement or valid direction from a competent authority.
  • Circumstances making continued provision of the service impracticable.

Where reasonably possible and legally permitted, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address a remediable issue before terminating access.

We may take immediate action where necessary to protect users, the service, or legal compliance.

Termination does not remove any payment obligations already incurred or rights that accrued before termination.

Refunds, outstanding payments, and access to user records following termination will be handled in accordance with these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and applicable law.

24. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in the service, pricing arrangements, legal requirements, security practices, or business operations.

We will update the “Last Updated” date when revisions are made.

Where a change materially affects users' rights or obligations, we will take reasonable steps to provide notice before it takes effect, where appropriate.

If applicable law or the nature of the change requires renewed acceptance, we will ask you to accept the revised Terms before continuing to use the affected service.

Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already accrued or override mandatory legal protections.

If you do not agree to a revised version, you should stop using the affected service and may contact us regarding account closure or any applicable refund rights.

25. Grievances and Customer Support

We welcome questions, complaints, and requests for assistance.

Email: adikediary@gmail.com

Instagram: @adikediary

Please include your registered email address and a clear description of the issue. For payment-related concerns, include the transaction reference where available.

We aim to acknowledge complaints within a reasonable period and resolve them promptly.

Where specific grievance-handling requirements apply to Adike Diary, we will follow the applicable legal deadlines and procedures. Where the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 apply, we will comply with their applicable requirements, including requirements concerning acknowledgement and resolution of grievances.

Contacting us does not remove your right to seek relief through any consumer forum, court, regulator, or other competent authority where available under applicable law.

26. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

We encourage users to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve any disagreement informally.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through discussion, it may be referred to the courts or other competent forums having jurisdiction under applicable Indian law.

Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of a right to bring a claim before a competent consumer commission or other forum where the law allows it.

Any jurisdiction provision in these Terms is subject to mandatory legal rules concerning territorial jurisdiction and consumer protection.

27. Force Majeure

We will not be responsible for a delay or failure to perform an obligation to the extent it is caused by an event beyond our reasonable control, such as a natural disaster, flood, fire, war, civil disturbance, government action, widespread internet disruption, or major third-party infrastructure failure.

We will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and resume affected services when practicable.

This section does not excuse obligations that applicable law requires us to perform despite such events.

28. Severability

If a court or competent authority determines that any provision of these Terms is invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, where legally permissible.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent they remain valid and enforceable.

29. No Waiver

If we do not enforce a provision of these Terms on one occasion, that does not mean we permanently waive the right to enforce it in the future.

Any waiver must be consistent with applicable law.

30. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any specific subscription or promotional terms presented to you at the time of purchase, form the agreement governing your use of Adike Diary for the matters they address.

If a specific offer contains additional terms, those terms will apply to that offer to the extent they are consistent with applicable law and these Terms.

If there is a conflict, mandatory law will prevail, followed by any valid, specific terms that expressly apply to the relevant offer, and then these general Terms.
