D. Business transfers

If Adike Diary is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or transfer of business assets, information may be transferred where legally permitted and subject to appropriate safeguards.

We will not share information for unrelated purposes merely because a third-party provider is involved in delivering the service.

6. Farm Records and Confidentiality

Your farm records remain yours. Submitting records to Adike Diary does not transfer ownership of those records to us.

We use the information to provide the features you request, maintain the application, and meet applicable obligations.

You should avoid entering another person's confidential information unless you have the authority to do so.

Although we take reasonable measures to protect stored records, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The application may use essential browser storage, cookies, or similar technologies to support functions such as authentication, session management, security, and user preferences.

If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, we will provide relevant information and obtain consent where required by applicable law.

You may be able to manage cookies through your browser settings, although disabling essential technologies may affect certain features.

The specific technologies used depend on the application's actual implementation.

8. Data Storage and Service Providers

Your information may be stored or processed using third-party hosting, database, authentication, and other infrastructure providers used by Adike Diary.

Information may be processed in India or other locations depending on the providers and their infrastructure, subject to applicable law.

We will take reasonable steps to select and configure service providers appropriately and to protect information against unauthorised access, use, alteration, or disclosure.

Before launch, we will ensure that this section accurately reflects the providers and data-storage arrangements actually used by the application.

9. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain your account and records, administer subscriptions, resolve disputes, maintain security, and meet legal obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it is held.

If your subscription expires, access to paid features may be restricted. Subscription expiry does not automatically mean that all your records are immediately deleted.

If you close your account or request deletion, we will handle the request in accordance with our implemented deletion procedures and applicable law. Some information may need to be retained for legal compliance, security, payment disputes, or other lawful purposes.

We will not claim that information has been permanently deleted until the applicable deletion process has been completed.

We will respond in accordance with applicable law. Certain information may need to be retained where a legal obligation or another lawful basis applies.

If you withdraw consent for processing that is necessary to provide a particular feature, that feature may no longer be available.

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

Depending on the application configuration, these measures may include access controls, authentication safeguards, database permissions, secure communications, and restricted access to service-provider systems.

No method of online transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.

If a personal-data breach occurs, we will take appropriate steps in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

12. Third-Party Websites and Services

The application may contain links to third-party websites or services, including payment-provider pages and social media platforms.

We do not control the privacy practices of independent third parties. Your use of their services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

We encourage you to review those policies before submitting information to third-party services.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy when our service, technology, providers, data practices, or legal obligations change.

We will update the “Last Updated” date when a revision is made. Where required by law or appropriate because a change materially affects users, we will provide notice and obtain renewed consent where necessary.

If a change requires acceptance before continued use, we will present the revised Policy and request the required affirmative acceptance.
